The ThermTec Ares 650 LRF version 2.0 is a classic thermal scope that is even lighter and packed with numerous advanced features. Its 640×512 12 µm (NETD ≤20 mK) sensor delivers exceptionally clear and high-quality images to the user. With a frame rate of 50 Hz and a 1024×768 resolution AMOLED display, it ensures smooth and uninterrupted image transmission. The device can detect a human-sized object (1.8×0.5 m) from distances of up to 2600 meters. Additionally, the compact laser rangefinder can measure distances to objects up to 1000 meters away. Features include six interchangeable color palettes, five savable ballistic profiles, a ballistic calculator, a picture-in-picture function, seven reticle options, a built-in battery combined with replaceable batteries, sound recording, manual/automatic sight calibration, and 64GB of internal memory. Automatic object detection (tracking mode)
In automatic object detection mode (tracking mode), the device will start looking for objects with the highest temperature. Notifications can be received when connected to a mobile app.

For a pleasurable visual thermal image experience, six different colour options can be used to suit the environment and weather conditions. Picture-in-picture function (PiP)
In the picture-in-picture function, it is possible to see the object being viewed enlarged. It is displayed in a small area at the top of the image, so the field of view is not disturbed by two images being displayed at the same time.

Capturing videos and photos has never been easier. With a simple press of a button, you can save your thermal image as a photo or video. Additionally, you can conveniently share recorded videos, photos, and real-time image transmissions with others through the “ThermTec Outdoor” mobile app. The device features a 64 GB internal memory, allowing you to store hours of video and thousands of images. The mobile app also makes it easy to perform software updates on the device. It supports bidirectional Wi-Fi and hotspot connectivity.
High IP67 protection
The ThermTec Ares 650 LRF 2.0 is rated IP67, which means the device has the highest level of dust protection. The product’s housing is waterproof up to 1 meter deep in water (for up to 30 minutes). It is also drop-resistant from a height of 1 meter.
