ARES 660 LRF 2.0
The ThermTec Ares 660 LRF version 2.0 is a classic design thermal scope that boasts enhanced capabilities and numerous advanced features. Its 640×512 12 µm sensor (NETD ≤20 mK) provides users with exceptionally clear and high-quality images. With a 50 Hz frame rate and a 1024×768 resolution AMOLED display, it ensures smooth and uninterrupted image transmission.
The device can detect human-sized objects (1.8×0.5 m) at distances of up to 1000 meters with a 20mm lens and up to 3000 meters with a 60mm lens. The Thermtec Ares 660 LRF 2.0 features a dual lens system (DUAL FOV 20mm/60mm), allowing users to switch between different fields of view.
An enhanced range-finding laser is capable of measuring distances to objects up to 1000 meters away. Additional features include 6 interchangeable color palettes, 5 storable ballistic profiles, a picture-in-picture function, 7 different reticle options, a built-in battery combined with interchangeable batteries, audio recording, manual/automatic sighting options, and 64GB of internal memory, making the Thermtec Ares 660 LRF 2.0 an ideal companion for any user.
Enhanced Focus Convenience
The previously located focus ring behind the device’s lens is a thing of the past. The new focus button is positioned on top of the device. This redesign of the focus adjustment enhances user comfort, allowing for easier focus regulation while ensuring stability during aiming.
Swift 3s Startup
The device powers on extremely quickly—in just 3 seconds. This allows the user to start aiming at the target within a very short period of time.
Automatic object detection (tracking mode)
In automatic object detection mode, the device begins searching for the objects with the highest temperatures. When connected to the mobile app, it is possible to receive notifications.
Choices of colour palettes
For a pleasant visual thermal imaging experience, the device offers six different color options that can be selected based on the environment and weather conditions. This feature simplifies the user’s ability to monitor their field of view, allowing for optimization of the device for specific tasks and adaptation to changing observation conditions.

The Thermtec Ares 660 LRF 2.0 can detect human-sized objects (1.8 × 0.5 m) from distances of up to 3000 meters. When using a 20 mm lens, the detection range is up to 1000 meters, while with a 60 mm lens, the detection range extends to 3000 meters.

Silent precision at its finest! The new silent lens cover with adjustable positioning fits perfectly against the body at its maximum angle, eliminating issues with rebound, noise, breakage, and obstructed view.
Picture-in-picture function (PiP)
In picture-in-picture mode, the observed object can be viewed at an enlarged scale. This is displayed in a small area at the top of the screen, allowing the main field of view to remain unobstructed by the two simultaneously displayed images.
Storage and connections
Taking videos and photos has never been easier. With a simple press of a button, you can capture your thermal image as a photo or video. There is also the option to conveniently share saved videos and photos, as well as real-time image transmission, through the “Thermtec Outdoor” mobile app. The device’s 64 GB internal memory allows for hours of video and thousands of images to be stored. The mobile app also makes it very easy to perform software updates on the device. It supports bidirectional Wi-Fi and hotspot connectivity.
Double lenses (DUAL FOV)
The Thermtec Ares 660 LRF 2.0 is equipped with dual lenses (20 mm and 60 mm), allowing users to choose between different fields of view. The 20 mm lens provides a wider view, while the 60 mm lens offers a narrower perspective.
High IP67 protection
The ThermTec Ares 660 LRF 2.0 meets the IP67 protection rating, which means it has the highest dust resistance. The product casing is waterproof up to a depth of 1 meter (for up to 30 minutes) and is drop-resistant from a height of 1 meter.
