Vidar 650
ThermTec Vidar 650 is an ultra-lightweight and compact thermal imaging sight with an incredibly high battery capacity, providing up to 14 hours of continuous use. The 640×512 12 µm (NETD ≤25 mK) sensor delivers a sharp image for the user. With a 50 Hz frame rate and a 1024×768 resolution OLED screen, it ensures smooth, uninterrupted, and high-quality visuals.
The Vidar 650 features six interchangeable color palettes, five storable ballistic profiles, a picture-in-picture function, seven different reticle options, an integrated AI distance meter, and 64 GB of internal memory, making it the ideal companion for any user.
Choices of colour palettes
For a pleasant visual thermal imaging experience, the device offers six different color options that can be selected based on the environment and weather conditions. This feature simplifies the user’s ability to monitor their field of view, allowing for optimization of the device for specific tasks and adaptation to changing observation conditions.
Automatic zeroing
The reticle automatically moves to the target area.
Automatic object detection (tracking mode)
In automatic object detection mode, the device begins searching for the objects with the highest temperatures. When connected to the mobile app, it is possible to receive notifications.
Detection range up to 1800 m
The Vidar 650 can detect a human-sized object (1.8×0.5 m) from a distance of up to 1800 meters.
High thermal sensitivity
The device features an advanced NETD ≤ 25 mK sensor that captures even the smallest details. Even the slightest temperature variations are noticeable in rain, fog, or on cold mornings, when thermal imaging conditions are most challenging.
The built-in algorithm distance measurer
Allows for automatic measurement of the object’s distance.
Picture-in-picture function (PiP)
In picture-in-picture mode, the observed object can be viewed at an enlarged scale. This is displayed in a small area at the top of the screen, allowing the main field of view to remain unobstructed by the two simultaneously displayed images.
Storage and connections
Taking videos and photos has never been easier. With a simple press of a button, you can capture your thermal image as a photo or video. You can also conveniently share saved videos/photos and real-time image streaming with others through the ‘Smart Thermal’ mobile application. The device’s 64 GB internal memory can store hours of video and thousands of pictures. The mobile app makes it very easy to perform software updates on the device. The device supports two-way Wi-Fi and hotspot connectivity.
High IP67 protection
The device has the highest level of dust resistance. Its casing is waterproof up to 1 meter in depth (for up to 30 minutes). It is also drop-resistant from a height of 1 meter.
