The ThermTec Ares 335 LRF version 2.0 is a classic thermal scope that is even lighter and equipped with numerous advanced features. Its 384×288 12 µm (NETD ≤18 mK) sensor provides users with an exceptionally clear and high-quality image. With a frame rate of 50 Hz and a 1024×768 resolution AMOLED display, it ensures smooth and uninterrupted image transmission. The device can detect a human-sized object (1.8×0.5 m) from distances of up to 1800 meters. Additionally, the compact laser rangefinder is capable of measuring distances to objects up to 1000 meters away. The scope also includes six interchangeable color palettes, five savable ballistic profiles, a ballistic calculator, a picture-in-picture function, seven reticle options, a built-in battery combined with replaceable batteries, sound recording, manual/automatic sight calibration, and 64GB of internal memory. Picture-in-picture function (PiP)
In picture-in-picture mode, the observed object can be viewed at an enlarged scale. This is displayed in a small area at the top of the screen, allowing the main field of view to remain unobstructed by the two simultaneously displayed images.

Taking videos and photos has never been easier. With a simple press of a button, you can capture your thermal image as a photo or video. There is also the option to conveniently share saved videos and photos, as well as real-time image transmission, through the “Thermtec Outdoor” mobile app. The device’s 64 GB internal memory allows for hours of video and thousands of images to be stored. The mobile app also makes it very easy to perform software updates on the device. It supports bidirectional Wi-Fi and hotspot connectivity.
High IP67 protection
The ThermTec Ares 335 LRF 2.0 is rated IP67, meaning it has the highest level of dust protection. The device’s casing is waterproof up to 1 meter deep for a duration of 30 minutes. It also has a drop resistance from a height of 1 meter.
